After 14 years on the frontlines heightened her activism around sustainable agriculture, she sold Life Alive to the founder of Panera Bread to ensure its expansion and delve deeper into sustainable food systems. She then built a permaculture farm and test kitchen, while designing and launching Hearth Food Garden, a revolutionary 15,000 sq. ft. food hall weaving together local food, quick-service, and fine dining.
